Former Technical Services Manager and Principal Technical Expert in Royal Dutch Shell, assignments spreading over Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, and India. Previously worked in Power & Utilities industries (India and Singapore). As Principal global discipline role in Shell he led development of the standards, DEPs (Design and Engineering Practices), new technology development releases and many best practices in design as well as in operation. His role included develop operation excellence programmes, and implement across shell assets to achieve sustainable industry best in class performance.

Earlier his role included many front-end developments (Scouting/feasibility studies, Basis of Design, and detail engineering) of large LNG projects, and Power/Refinery/chemicals expansion/revamp projects.

His experience in Power Industries included Commissioning, Operation and maintenance of Power plants (240MW), a 500MW power project development from the stage of preparing specifications, basis of design, detail Engineering to Commissioning. Played a key role in resolving design /engineering issues and performance improvement initiatives.

His dedicated effort persuading best in class steam system reliability performance resulted in steam quality management best practice which was implemented in the Shell east sites.

He authored and presented several papers on steam system and quality in the EPRI International conferences (y2012-2018).   In the recent years he helped to enrich and maintain global knowledge database as part of the knowledge management framework,  dedicated also significant effort in coaching and training for development of the staff in the region.

He was associated with NABL India accredited Laboratory as Technical Consultant for chemical, metallurgical & mechanical analysis on metals and alloys. He is certified assessor/auditor for ISO: 9001, ISO: 14001 EMS from DNV Management Services, BS OHSAS 18001, ISO/TS 16949, IMS, ISO 17025, TQM from ABB Process Management Gmbh, Germany, EFQM Business Excellence Model, and advanced welding as per European standard. His experience included:

• Quality assurance by establishing effective quality control through inspections, tests and corrective & preventive actions through cross functional team.
• Consultancy services in creating, developing and managing Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures as per approved specifications and regulations.
• QHSE audits for strict compliance, investigating problematic areas and recommending practical, and cost-effective solutions.
• Reviews/gap analysis wrt the latest approved technologies and relevant standards; conducting reviews and giving approvals to all HSE documents prepared by contractors, consultants, and any other party involved in the project.
• 3rd party auditing of IMS on ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 in various manufacturing industries, construction, process industries, mining, etc

Sr Consultant

Sujoy Kumar Ghosh is a keen performer aiming at achieving the business targets for profit and growth objectives by optimizing cost of production, asset utilization and resource allocation.

He managed erection & commissioning activities of several Thermal Power, Solar & Wind Power, involving resource planning, in-process inspection, team building and co-ordination with internal / external Agencies.

Spent over 10 years on designs, reviews, installation, commissioning and operation, and maintenance of Renewable Energy, both Solar and Wind Power Generation.

Earlier his experience included handling operations pertaining to various thermal power plants, process equipment like boiler, turbine, generator, boiler feed pump, draught fans, coal mills, compressors, etc.; and maintenance activities along with necessary modification for up-keeping the system developments.

With his strong analytical problem-solving skill coupled with organizational abilities, had been able to implement many performance improvements and achieve best in class operational excellence across the organization.

Managing activities of technical bid specifications, scheduling, progress monitoring, site management, manpower planning, etc.

Earlier his involvement in thermal power projects included project reviews, technical assurance, value engineering, project monitoring, adhering to standards/best practices, and managing resources.

Sr Consultant, Power Plant/ Energy

Dilip is a Power plant professional and has worked in a reputed Power utilities and EPC companies such as Sembcorp, Samsung C&T and Shimizu Corp.

He has handled various functions such as Operation, Maintenance and Project engineering in his 30 years of working experience in India and Singapore.

He has also handled regional SEA power and Gas market as a Regional Business development (BD) manager and well versed with power plant Asia market & its landscape.

He has worked in a large Coal fired power plant 3x210MW and NG fired combined cycle cogeneration power plant 800MW (CCPP) and has run plant optimisation projects from development stage until the commissioning and worked with all the project stakeholders to achieve the project objective.

Dilip has done Bachelor of mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi and MBA in Finance from S P Jain School of global management, Singapore.

• Boiler Fuel firing conversion from HFO to NG
• PLC integration with Honeywell DCS and DCS expansion project.
